UsesTemporarily relieves minor aches and pains associated with: a cold or flu; headache; muscular aches; backache; toothache; premenstrual and menstrual periods; minor pains of arthritis; temporarily reduces fever. Safety coated. For aspirin regimen users.
DirectionsDosage may be repeated while symptoms persist, or as directed by a doctor. Adults and children 12 years of age and over: 4-8 tablets every 4 hours with a full glass of water, not to exceed 48 tablets in a 24 hour period. Children under 12 years of age: Consult a doctor.
PurposePain Reliever
Warnings Reye's syndrome: Children and teenagers should not use this medicine for chicken pox or flu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious illness reported to be associated with aspirin. Allergy : Do not take this product if you are allergic to aspirin. Alcohol warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take aspirin or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Aspirin may cause stomach bleeding. Do not give this product to children for the pain of arthritis unless directed by a physician. Ask a doctor before use if you have: asthma; stomach problems that persist or recur; ulcers; bleeding problems or if you are taking a preion drug for anticoagulation (thinning of the blood), diabetes, gout or arthritis. When using this product do not use: for more than 3 days for fever unless directed by a doctor; for more than 10 days for pain unless directed by a doctor. Stop use and ask a doctor if: symptoms do not improve; new symptoms occur; pain or fever persists or get worse; redness or swelling is present; ringing in the ears or a loss of hearing occurs. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. IT IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT NOT TO USE ASPIRIN DURING THE LAST 3 MONTHS OF PREGNANCY UNLESS DEFINITELY DIRECTED TO DO SO BY A DOCTOR BECAUSE IT MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS IN THE UNBORN CHILD OR COMPLICATIONS DURING DELIVERY. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
